UEFA has unveiled plans to cap away ticket prices for the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League club competitions.
From the 2024/25 season, the maximum price for visiting fan tickets will be pegged at €60 for the Champions League, €40 for the Europa League, and €20 for the Conference League.
The following year, Champions League away tickets will be capped at €50, with Europa League prices also reduced to €35, while Conference Leagues will retain the same price from 2024/25.
This year’s Champions League campaign gets underway later this month, when the first fixture round kicks off on 17th September.

The decision follows consultation between European football’s governing body and the European Club Association (ECA) and Football Supporters Europe (FSE), and is intended to make away fixtures more accessible to travelling fans.
“Today’s decision marks another key step in reaffirming UEFA’s commitment to enhancing the matchday experience for all fans,” said Aleksander Čeferin, President of UEFA.
“By introducing more fan-friendly policies, we continue our mission to keep football as an inclusive sport where supporters who travel across Europe to follow their teams are valued and recognised.”
Ronan Evain, Executive Director of FSE, added, “The revised price caps are further recognition of how integral away fans are to the atmosphere of European club fixtures.
“Today’s decision illustrates another positive achievement in FSE’s joint work with UEFA and clubs on improving conditions for fans traveling across Europe.”
UEFA has also revealed a new partnership with German supermarket chain Lidl, which becomes a sponsor of the Europa and Conference Leagues from the upcoming season.
