UEFA has commissioned IMG to produce 12 preview programmes ahead of EURO 2020.
The competition, which will take place across 12 different cities around the continent, will feature 24 teams, each of whom will feature in the content to be created by IMG.
All of the programmes will last 24 minutes and will feature two qualifying countries, including player profiles, fan features, archive stories and host city guides, celebrating each of the teams competing in the 60th anniversary of the competition.
Nairn Salter, Executive Producer, IMG Productions, said: “UEFA EURO 2020 is the pinnacle of national team football in Europe and the series will be vibrant, youthful and informal in order to captivate the imagination of fans and viewers ahead of the tournament.
“There will be a strong emphasis on high production values, with expertly-shot material complemented by stylish graphics throughout. It’s an exciting project ahead of what promises to be an outstanding event, showcasing some of the best stadiums and backdrops across Europe.”
With the tournament taking place across the continent, UEFA has also committed to planting 50,000 trees in each of the host cities in what it claims is an effort to offset the carbon emissions accrued by the teams, fans and UEFA staff who will have to travel between countries for games.
