UEFA has signed a three-year extension of its betting data rights partnership with Sport Industry Group official partner Sportradar.

The deal has also been expanded to include non-exclusive data distribution rights to non-betting media. This is intended to enhance the sports data and technology company’s AI product and services offering.

The renewal of the agreement, first signed in 2021, covers all UEFA club and national team competitions, including the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League, as well as the Women’s Champions League, and the Women’s Euro 2025.

As a result of the revamped UEFA club competitions from the start of the 2024/25 season, Sportradar will offer more than 900 matches per season, marking an increase of almost 33% on the previous deal.

Sportradar and European football’s governing body are additionally extending their integrity agreement, which dates back to 2009. This will see the Switzerland-based firm continue to support UEFA’s anti-match-fixing division.

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with UEFA, offering our clients and soccer fans worldwide with unparalleled engagement and value through cutting-edge solutions and comprehensive data coverage,” said Carsten Koerl, CEO of Sportradar.

“This agreement supports our strategic focus on selectively investing in long-term rights across key global sports, enabling ongoing innovation and enhancement of our offerings.”

A long-time partner of the FEVO Sport Industry Awards, Sportradar current serves as the sponsor of the Tech In Sport Award category, which in 2024 was won by ASB GlassFloor.
