The Champions Hockey League 2020/21 season opened with the group stage draw, revealing updated creative graphics, created UK design agency Jump.
Commissioned by the league’s exclusive Media and Marketing Partner Infront to revamp the opening title sequence, the style was brought in line with the broadcast graphics package that they designed for CHL three years ago. Jump had created the previous opening sequence for the same season.
The new titles and the updated programme graphics launched ahead of the new season, which is scheduled to begin on 6th October.
Lee Jacobs, Art Director, Jump, said: “With this sequence we offered a more dynamic, graphic approach to tie in more tightly with the new brand and hugely successful match graphics.
“This will allow us to generate multiple sequences for the CHL throughout the season, creating bespoke draw, group stage and playoff versions to keep the gameplay footage fresh and relevant to the competition. We will continue to update this version of the sequence for the next three seasons.”
