Umbro Signs Three Red Roses As Rugby Ambassadors
Umbro has announced three Red Roses stars as its first female rugby ambassadors as it continues to cement its place in the sport.
The brand has signed England trio Zoe Harrison, Shaunagh Brown and Sarah Bern, who have all been named in the squad to face Italy in the final Women’s Six Nations fixture of the campaign, which could see the Red Roses come away with a Grand Slam.
As ambassadors, the players will work with Umbro to showcase the brand’s range of performance clothing beyond its association with the international rugby side. Umbro recently became the Official Technical Kit Partner to England Rugby.
“Umbro is a globally recognisable brand, bringing new ways of thinking and doing to rugby, and to be working with them to play a part in raising the profile of women’s rugby is truly exciting, and something I can’t wait to get started on,” said Harrison, who is represented by thinkBeyond Talent.
The brand also recently announced England Rugby Head Coach Eddie Jones as an ambassador to complement its partnership with the national side, as well as its partnership with Premiership Rugby team the Bristol Bears.
