Tottenham Hotspur FC and its Official Technical Partner, Under Armour, have announced details of a new competition offering the most dedicated young footballers in the country the opportunity to train like a professional player and showcase their skills on the pitch at White Hart Lane.

From today, male footballers aged 17-20 years old – whether they are Tottenham fans or not – that are devoted to the game are able to apply via http://www.facebook.com/UnderArmourUK for a chance to be selected.

A total of 32 players will be selected to team up with Tottenham Hotspur club captain Michael Dawson and United States goalkeeper Brad Friedel in an intensive training session later this month at Tottenham Hotspur’s state-of-the-art North London training centre.

Those players selected for the training session will be watched over by Spurs’ coaching team as they look to earn the chance to represent either ‘Team Dawson’ or ‘Team Friedel’ on Tuesday 13th May in a match at White Hart Lane, played over a full 90 minutes.

‘This Under Armour competition reflects Under Armour’s dedication to make all athletes better, and is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated footballers across the country to earn the right to compete in an authentic top flight environment by showcasing their commitment to training and improving themselves, no matter which team they support,’ said Under Armour athlete Michael Dawson.

To participate in this opportunity, submit your entry via www.facebook.com/UnderArmourUK beginning today. Submissions will be accepted until 22nd April, 2014.
