Fuse Sport + Entertainment has been appointed by UniCredit to activate the brand’s sponsorship of UEFA club properties, including the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the recently announced collaboration with UEFA Europa League.
The agency, part of the Omnicom Media Group, will support the official bank of the UEFA Champions League across all facets of the sponsorships over the next three year cycle.
Commenting on the appointment, Daniele Penna, head of group strategic sponsorships for UniCredit commented: “Fuse Sport + Entertainment has fantastic expertise in delivering international sponsorships for major clients that truly impact their business and deliver strong ROI. We are excited to be working with the team for the next three years.”
Fuse Sport + Entertainment managing director EMEA Mark Bullingham said: “We are delighted to be supporting UniCredit’s commercial ambitions in Europe. The addition of the UEFA Europe League to UniCredit’s partnerships with UEFA gives even more frequency and geographic scope to engage their target audiences in football.”
UniCredit is a European commercial bank spanning 50 markets, with more than 8,500 branches and over 147,000 employees.
