On The Upside Launches With ATP Brief

New digital and social media agency On The Upside has launched with the ATP Tour as a founding client.

Founder and Managing Director Andreas Plastiras, formerly of We Are Social, says his new outfit will play a key role in developing the content strategy across all 63 tournaments throughout the 2019 ATP Tour calendar.

The start-up agency has been working with the ATP Tour for the past five months and had previously been brought in to assist the ATP optimise its social media in advance of and during the Nitto ATP Finals last year.

Placing data analytics and insight at its core, On The Upside will also be tasked with supporting commercial growth and developing standardised reporting methods.The tournament held in London in November 2018, went on to prove the best performing event for the ATP on social media to date.

Announcing the launch, Plastiras said: “After months of planning we are delighted to introduce ‘On The Upside’ and are immensely proud to be extending our relationship with the ATP in what is a very exciting time for the organisation.

“The Data world is getting more and more complex, and we simplify it into meaningful recommendations and actions for growth and most importantly revenue.”
