Official England team sponsor, Vauxhall, is putting fans “On the Spot” for a chance to win a trip to Brazil this summer, after launching a new competition that will see three England fans battle it out in a half-time penalty shoot-out during the national side’s friendly with Peru at Wembley on 30th May.

The winner of the sudden death shootout will win a South American trip of a lifetime.

The finalists will be selected from Vauxhall’s dedicated football website (www.vauxhallfootball.co.uk), talkSPORT and The Express Group with the winner taking all at the country’s national stadium.

The trio will be put through their paces by England legends in a number of training sessions, challenges and tutorials ahead of the big day.

Chris Hornbuckle, Vauxhall head of sponsorship said: ‘This is arguably the biggest competition we’ve ever promoted since becoming the England team lead sponsor.’

‘We understand the financial and logistical implications mean that not all England fans will be able to make the trip to Brazil this summer.’

‘We want to offer a way for genuine fans to join the team, five and a-half thousand miles away in what will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.’
