talkSPORT has announced an agreement with Vauxhall which will see the car manufacturer continue to sponsor the station’s coverage of Home Nations football (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales) throughout 2015. Vauxhall is official partner of all the Home Nation countries’ national teams.

The partnership will see Vauxhall sponsor international Euro 2016 qualifiers and other Home Nation internationals including this month’s Euro 2016 qualifying match at Wembley where England will take on Lithuania on Friday 27th March.

Ahead of the match, talkSPORT’s Drive show will be broadcast live from Wembley Way in a Vauxhall branded studio. Presenters Adrian Durham and Darren Gough will be bringing fans all of the atmosphere, news and exclusive interviews before the station’s live England commentary.

Vauxhall branded previews, trails, features and interviews with Vauxhall ambassadors will also run across talkSPORT’s schedule alongside Vauxhall branded editorial coverage in talkSPORT’s sister publication, Sport magazine.

Adam Mills, talkSPORT sales director, said: “We’ve had a fantastic relationship with Vauxhall for the past few years and I’m really looking forward to us continuing to work together as the excitement builds during the home nations’ qualification journey to the Euros next year.

“As the UK’s only dedicated sports radio station we can reach fans in ways that other media can’t and give great opportunities for big sports sponsors like Vauxhall.”

Cheryl Stibbs, sponsorship marketing manager, Vauxhall, commented: “We are delighted to be partnering with talkSPORT for 2015.

“All four Home Nations are doing well, with the chance of qualification to the European Championships in 2016 and we are excited about activating a number of our campaigns across the talkSPORT platforms.”
