Viagogo Announces Reading FC Partnership
Online ticket marketplace, viagogo, has this week signed a new deal with Reading Football Club to become the Barclays Premier League club’s official secondary ticketing partner.
The deal marks a landmark tenth Barclays Premier League club partnership with viagogo, giving season ticket holders the opportunity to safely and securely resell their tickets to the games they are unable to attend. This allows season ticket holders to recoup lost money, reduces the number of empty seats in the stadium and means more fans get to see games they would otherwise have missed.
viagogo has deals with nine other Barclays Premier League clubs, including champions Manchester City and European Champions Chelsea FC, who have already signed up to provide official secondary ticketing exchanges for their fans.
Pat Coyne, commercial director for Reading FC said: ‘We are delighted to have agreed an official partnership with viagogo and this is a very exciting step forward for both the club and our supporters. We strive to reward our season ticket holders for their commitment to the club, and the option to re-sell tickets through viagogo makes season tickets an even more attractive proposition. And for our fans without season tickets, viagogo offers a chance to see the team live in the Barclays Premier League.’

viagogo has partnerships with some of the leading sports clubs in Europe, including 10 Premier League clubs, nine German Bundesliga clubs andclubs from Spain’s La Liga, Italy’s Serie A and the Netherland’s Eredivisie. viagogo is also the official secondary ticketing partner for Roland Garros (The French Open) and the Barclays ATP World Tour Final.
