Roser Queralto, Euroleague Basketball, chief business development officer, said: “Thanks to viagogo’s ticket expertise and secure marketplace, our fans have been enjoying and will continue to benefit from the unique professional services of a market leader who gives them the flexibility to keep bringing a fantastic atmosphere to Euroleague matches.
“The different location of the Final Four each year means that we have a huge international fan base and viagogo’s network of more than 60 global websites has enabled us to reach our fans from all over the world, through offering local language and payment methods. In fact, since we started working with viagogo we have sold tickets in more than 54 countries.”
A spokesperson from viagogo commented: “We are proud to be continuing our partnership with Euroleague, the most prestigious basketball tournament in Europe. It’s our mission to broaden access to the best events in the world and we’re delighted that our relationship has delivered such tangible benefits so far. We’re looking forward to building on that success this year, continuing to protect fans from the black market and reaching new international audiences.”
