Visa is set to take its ‘Go Fans’ campaign globally as part of its World Cup sponsorship push that includes television, print and out-of-home advertisements, usage promotions, experiential offers for cardholders and merchant discounts.
‘Go Fans’ was developed with the aim of connecting football fans worldwide to drive usage of Visa products and claims that Visa will enhance the fan’s World Cup experience.
Visa has also created the ‘Go 2010 Football Experience’ – an initiative that allows fans to receive prizes including; a pre-match Stadium Tour, viewing the team warm-up by the pitch, and a half-time pitch-side tour.
The campaign also includes usage promotions – giving Visa cardholders the chance to win tickets to World Cup matches every time they use their Visa cards.
Visa’s partnership with FIFA provides global rights in the financial services product category to all FIFA World Cup activities.
