Vivo Ask Fans To Be In The Moment In Euro 2020 Campaign

UEFA EURO 2020 partner vivo has launched a new campaign ahead of the tournament, encouraging fans to enjoy ‘beautiful moments’ by putting their phones down for the 90 minutes of the match.

The Official Smartphone of the tournament will use its partnership to ‘help enrich the joys around the game, whether they take place on or off the phone’, encouraging fans to ‘be in the moment’ and use their phones to take photos or connect with others before and after matches. However, the brand’s campaign will also ask fans to ‘give their phone a break’ while giving their full attention to the match during the 90 minutes.

‘To Beautiful Moments’ will air on TV in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and China, as well as being supported by global campaigns on social media platforms Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. 

“People around the world have been eagerly awaiting this tournament. Now more than ever, we want to celebrate the spirit and sportsmanship of the game and help fans get the most out of the experience,” said Spark Ni, Senior Vice President and CMO of vivo.

During the tournament, the brand will also aim to bring the ‘applause and cheers’ of more fans back into the stadium, with a new #vivoSuperTime campaign to encourage fans around the world to ‘channel their energy’ into the game by sharing their cheers on social media for the chance to appear in the tournament’s closing ceremonies.
