Vodafone has increased its sponsorship deals with UEFA, striking a three-year
deal to become the technology sponsor of the UEFA Cup to complement the mobile
brand’s sponsorship of the Champions League.

As part of the new deal, Vodafone will also sponsor the UEFA Super Cup.

Vodafone ended its £9million a year shirt sponsorship deal with Manchester
United at the end of 2005 to become an official partner of the Champions League.

As part of a new centralised sponsorship structure for the UEFA Cup,
Carlsberg becomes the presenting sponsor with Vodafone joining Toyota,
Intersport, Canon and Banco Santander as the tournament’s official sponsors.
