Vodafone is to use newly emerged F1 star Lewis Hamilton more centrally in its
latest advertising work, using the British driver as a global brand ambassador.

Hamilton will have a principal role in Vodafone’s next global advertising
campaign, to be developed by ad agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty, with the promotions
building on the mobile brand’s ‘make the most of now’ slogan.

Vodafone has briefed BBH to develop global TV work using Hamilton to promote
the network operator to a new generation of consumers interested in the mobile
internet and music downloads.

The brand has already used Hamilton to front a new digital marketing
campaign, created by Dare, with the driver featuring in mobile phone footage
sent direct to customers.
