Warrior Football has pledged its support of grassroots football by partnering with Goal’s 5-a-side centres, building on the brand’s existing sponsorship of The Warrior Keele Cup.

The provider of small sided football facilities has 43 Goals Soccer Centres located across the UK, hosting over 103,000 footballers every week in FA Accredited facilities.

Richard Wright, general manager of Warrior Football, said of the news: ‘Grassroots football truly is the epicenter of British football culture. Over the past ten years we have seen a rise in the popularity of 5-a-side football played on artificial 3G pitches. The facilities that Goals offer are impeccable and players can come and compete while socialising with their mates. Sweat, blood and tears are shed every day of the week at these football centres – we want to be right amongst this passion and desire; it’s what the brand was built on and what it stands for.’

He added: ‘We are delighted to associate the Warrior name with Goals. In the coming months and years you can expect to see lots from us at various venues; we plan to be very active in this partnership.’

Keith Rodgers, chief executive of Goals Soccer Centres added: ‘We are delighted to welcome Warrior Football.  Our customers love football and scoring that winning goal.  This passion together with the well documented fitness benefits of 5-a-side have contributed to Goals ongoing success.  Warrior’s innovative products can help them play the game and achieve their football dreams.’

‘This partnership will deliver some great benefits to all our players.  Warrior joins a number of global brands, which are Goals Headline Brand Partners including Powerade and Carlsberg.’
