Wasserman Media Group has appointed Georgina Twiss as the company’s new managing director, global media, who has been charged with continuing to build the company’s global presence with a key focus on European expansion.
Joining from Fox International Channels where she held the role of Executive Vice President, Affiliate Distribution Europe and Africa, Twiss will be responsible for leading Wasserman’s global media business including operational and business development strategies.
The announcement was made on Thursday by Casey Wasserman, chairman and CEO, Wasserman Media Group.
‘Georgina brings to this business an outstanding track record and understanding of the evolving media climate. We look forward to working with her to continue to build this business and harness its continued potential,’ said Wasserman.

With over fifteen years of experience in media and sports covering content acquisition, commercial strategy, rights negotiation and business development, Twiss has also held significant roles at companies including Virgin/NTL Telewest, Eurosport.
Yesterday Wasserman announced an expansion of its golf division, with prospect Ryan Evans joining the likes of Jason Day and Rickie Fowler.
