Wasserman Expands European Team

Wasserman Media Group has announced the appointment of Nora Szanto to the role of SVP global media – Europe. 

Nora has been deeply involved in sport at the highest level as a basketball player in her native Hungary, before subsequently moving to her role at the International Basketball Federation, FIBA. 

Nora then moved to Sportfive International as the senior director of the UEFA Euro 2008 broadcaster services and implementation team and on the 2014 Sochi Winter and 2016 Rio Summer Olympic Games.  

In 2013 she joined Penceo in Geneva as commercial director with responsibility for developing and building its service offering to the sports sector.  

Nora will report to Georgina Twiss, managing director, global media. 

Twiss commented: “With great insights into digital content strategies & services, and a well-rounded understanding and knowledge of the sports sector, I am excited about the drive, knowledge and expertise Nora will bring to my team at Wasserman and the contribution she can make to our growth plans for Wasserman in Europe.”
