Wasserman Signs Mark Cavendish

Wasserman Media Group has announced that British cycling star Mark Cavendish has joined the agency following his successful season in the Tour de France and recent Tour of Britain.

Cavendish, widely regarded as the fastest sprint cyclist in the world, has won a total of 20 Tour de France stages so far in his career – and joins the likes of Alan Shearer, Michael Owen, Jack Wilshere, Steven Gerrard and Amir Khan as part of the Wasserman athlete representation division.  

The agency will be exclusively responsible for developing his commercial & PR opportunities ahead of London 2012 and beyond.
