WePlay Launch “how To Win On Facebook” Guide

Sports marketing agency WePlay has produced a guide to help sports organisations ‘win on Facebook’.

The company say that the average person in the UK spends 40 minutes on Facebook every day, while they also estimate that $67bn will be spent on Facebook advertising in 2019.

The agency also notes the “ever-changing digital media landscape” and believe that their guide will “aid marketing leaders to better understand Facebook, Instagram and Messenger, and to develop strategies and activations to achieve greater returns on their commercial marketing investment.”

Luca Massaro, CEO of WePlay and an alumnus of the Sport Industry Group NextGen programme in 2016 said, “We’re absolutely delighted to finally share our playbook with sports leaders around the globe. We have invested over six months of time and hundreds of hours to compile what we believe will set a new industry standard for marketing content. We hope this guide aids in helping sports organisations to win in the digital age.”

Applications for the Sport Industry NextGen 2020 programme are open until Friday 13th September.

The online entry process is free of charge for all applicants who should enter for themselves but will require supporting references.

The Sport Industry NextGen selection committee – which is formed of Sport Industry NextGen Coaches, partners and industry experts – will select the rising stars both for their existing ability and their future potential.
