West Ham United has announced a new partnership with US trading cards and collectibles brand Topps.
The deal sees Topps become an official licensing partner to the Hammers, building upon the existing licensing agreement that has seen West Ham’s players feature as part of Topps’ UEFA Club Competitions trading card collections.
Through the multi-year partnership, Topps will produce trading cards and stickers for West Ham United fans to collect, trade and play with.
The Topps Company, which is traditionally known for its iconic physical cards, is now part of Fanatics Collectibles, which was launched in 2021 and is a subsidiary of Fanatics, a global digital sports platform.
Mark Catlin, General Manager, Topps International, said, “Topps is delighted to be partnering with West Ham United, one of Europe’s most iconic clubs. Our shared commitment to excellence and innovation makes this partnership a perfect fit and we look forward to bringing exciting products and experiences to West Ham United’s loyal fanbase as it continues its impressive international growth.”
Nathan Thompson, Chief Commercial Officer, added, “At West Ham United, we pride ourselves on aligning with best-in-class brands to bring engaging activations and products to our global audience.
“We are therefore thrilled to partner with Topps, a company that has long been treasured by sports fans and collectors around the world, and we look forward to working with them moving forwards.”
