West Ham United fans can support the team’s Foundation by shopping online using ethical search engine, storm.it.

Fans will be invited to use a West Ham United Foundation branded web browser, which features the storm search engine and a ‘give’ icon is displayed next to Storm search results, highlighting retailers prepared to pay a commission when a fan makes a purchase.

The Foundation is expecting the new partnership to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds over the coming years to be invested to further the Foundation’s mission of promoting health and wellbeing through community participation.

Joseph Lyons, chief executive of the West Ham United Foundation, said: “The new Foundation browser lets our fans show their loyalty to both the club and the worthwhile causes the Foundation supports. Our fans are passionate about anything and everything West Ham and we expect to see great take up of the new service to help continue our community work: it¹s a great example of using the power of football to transform lives.”

Alan Purcell, Storm spokesperson said: “We’re delighted to partner with a world-class football team’s Foundation. West Ham fans are getting a fantastic search engine and an easy, cost-free way to give when they shop online.”

Fans can raise money for the Foundation when they make online purchases from retailers including; Waitrose, Virgin, Sports Direct, Superdrug, Currys and PC World.

Fellow Premier League side Everton FC launched a similar branded browser earlier this month to raise funds for the Everton in the Community.
