Printing in 3D is here to stay, and the self-proclaimed “future of manufacturing” is now being used to make everything from film props to food.

More pressingly, the technology has now broken into the sports market and is currently being used to make parts for motor racing cars – with Dan Walmsley, Team Principal at Strakka Racing, one of the technology’s biggest advocates – now making the process of testing new designs faster and cheaper.
