Former rugby player Jonny Wilkinson has backed Vitality’s latest campaign #MySummerGoal, visiting Pennyhill Park in Surrey.
Vitality ambassador Wilkinson used his passion for healthy living to encourage people to get active, while also sharing his experiences and offering advice.
#MySummerGoal looks to encourage members to set a six-week fitness goal throughout the summer. Whether that’s to run their first mile or marathon, take up a new sport or just add something small to their everyday routine, Vitality will offer motivational tips and rewards to achieve this.
Wilkinson said: “It’s been great working with Vitality over the past four years as we share the same passion about encouraging people to live more healthily. Campaigns like #MySummerGoal really help motivate everyone, no matter their current state of health, to take positive steps to a healthier and more active lifestyle.”
Nick Read, commercial director at Vitality, said: “Jonny is such an amazing role model and we are delighted that he is supporting #MySummerGoal. We are truly privileged to have such a fantastic group of ambassadors to help spread the Vitality message about healthy living.”
Jonny Wilkinson is one of five Vitality ambassadors, who include Jessica Ennis-Hill, Maro Itoje, Joe Root, and Ellie Simmonds.
