Williams Racing has revealed a new partnership with digital transformation specialist Globant.
Founded in Buenos Aires, Globant has sponsored the Formula 1 team following the news that Argentine driver Franco Colapinto will start for the remainder of the 2024 season, replacing Logan Sargeant.
This weekend, the 21-year-old will become the first Argentinian driver in Formula 1 in 23 years, when he makes his debut at the Italian Grand Prix.
Globant, who previously supported Colapinto when he competed in Formula 2, has now partnered with Williams ahead of his debut for the UK-based team.

The deal build’s on Globant’s partnership with Formula 1, and sees the company expand a partnership roster that also includes FIFA and the NBA’s LA Clippers.
Williams has recently signed up a number of commercial partners, including Japanese construction equipment brand Komatsu, cybersecurity firm Keeper Security, and technology company Vast Data.
“We love dreamers and Franco Colapinto has made his dream come true through his talent, determination and hard work,” said Martin Migoya, Co-founder and CEO of Globant.
“Now that he has earned a seat in Formula 1 we want to keep supporting him and the team that nurtured him along the way.
“As Latin America’s largest technology company serving the global market, we are committed to transforming the sports industry, providing solutions to bring fans closer to the game, and elevating every experience.”
James Vowles, Team Principal at Williams, added, “I am delighted to welcome Globant to Williams Racing as Argentina prepares to mark its latest milestone in Formula 1.
“This partnership unites two organisations driven by innovation and a passion to provide unrivalled experiences for fans, and we are looking forward to working together starting this weekend in Monza.”
