The Williams Formula One team has appointed a new chief executive officer as
part of its senior management group reporting directly into the team’s owner
Frank Williams.
Adam Farr is moving to WilliamsF1 from his role as managing director of
mining firm Rio Tinto’s industrial minerals business to take up the post
starting at the F1 team on 27 November.
Farr, who began his career at the Japan desk of Barclays Investment Bank,
will be responsible for developing the team’s partnership with Toyota and its
existing sponsors amongst other duties.
