The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) has penned a five-year extension that will see Wimbledon remain on BeIN Sports in France until 2028.

Under the renewal, the pay-TV provider will offer complete coverage throughout the grass-court championships across two dedicated channels, of which one will offer multi-court coverage.

The Qatari-owned broadcaster will also provide daily Wimbledon programming content throughout the championships.

BeIN first acquired exclusive French broadcast rights to the iconic Grand Slam tennis tournament in 2014.

Yousef Al-Obaidly, President of BeIN Sports France, said, “This is great news for our subscribers, with Wimbledon being the centrepiece of our international tennis offering, which also includes the Billie Jean King Cup, Davis Cup and the best of the WTA Women’s Tour.

We are proud at BeIN Sports France to have built in recent years a prestigious channel, based on a portfolio of premium rights, managed by passionate and talented teams, and guided by a rational and long-term business model, placing BeIN Sports at the heart of the French media eco-system.”

BeIN’s renewal with the AELTC comes ahead of the 2024 edition of the championships, which will run from 1st to 14th July.
