Premier League football club Wolverhampton Wanderers has extended its partnership with foreign exchange provider Global Reach.
The terms of the deal see Global Reach continuing to support Wolves’ foreign exchange strategies and global payment solutions, primarily for international player acquisition, pre-season tours and overseas sponsorship revenue.
The partnership will also be of assistance to the club’s wider network of sponsors, partners and corporate members who will benefit from Global Reach’s FX hedging and risk management expertise.
Russell Jones, Wolves General Manager for Marketing and Commercial Growth, said, “Following a successful partnership during the 2021/22 season, we are excited to keep Global Reach as part of the pack.
“Global Reach have been a key partner for us since we joined forces back in May 2021 and we look forward to continuing to work closely with them in the coming months.”
On the extension of the partnership, Adam Beevers, Wolves Head of Finance, added, “We are pleased to continue our relationship with Global Reach for a further season.
“Particularly during a transfer window as active as this summer, it is key to have a trusted industry specialist on board to support us with what is a critical part of our business, and we certainly have that in the team at Global Reach.”
Joe Stevens, Associate Director at Global Reach, commented, “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Wolves. We’ve cultivated a great relationship which we’re looking forward to growing.
“As a business that prides itself on being a high-performing team, we strongly embody the club’s values and relentless commitment for ongoing success.”
Earlier this year, Wolves also renewed its partnership with A&H Construction and Developments.
