Reigning Guinness Women’s Six Nations champions, the Red Roses, have partnered with British lifestyle brand Crew Clothing.

As the team’s new formalwear outfitter, Crew will provide the playing squad and support staff in their designs for all formal appearances and events.

The Red Roses, the number one women’s rugby union team in the world, have marked a major milestone in female sponsorship with the deal. The agreement is not only the first exclusive partnership to the Red Roses, but it also represents Crew Clothing’s first all-female sponsorship deal.

Fans will have to wait until after the summer internationals that take place early this month to see the collection, with the debut their new formalwear taking place at the upcoming 2025 Guiness Women’s Six Nations.

Over 30 years ago, Crew Clothing released their first collection, with the rugby shirt as one of the first statement pieces. Since then, the clothing brand has joined forces with a multitude of other sporting companies including Exeter Chiefs, Williams Racing, Henley Royal Regatta, LTA, Legends Golf Tour and Professional Cricketers Association.

This latest relationship cements the brand’s positive position as a leading supporter of British sport.

Naomi Parry, Head of Marketing at Crew Clothing said, “This partnership with the Red Roses serves as a reflection of Crew’s unwavering commitment to supporting the best of British sport, and we couldn’t be prouder to be a part of the next phase in the Red Roses’ incredible journey. Ahead of a monumental year for women’s rugby, we’ll be supporting the squad with a range of beautifully crafted formalwear pieces and look forward to celebrating future successes with our new partner.”

Alex Teasdale, Women’s Executive Director at the RFU added, “We are really looking forward to working with Crew Clothing as a Red Roses Partner – the first Women’s game standalone Partner. We’re really proud that the Red Roses are galvanising support in this way and showing that women’s rugby is an attractive proposition for brands. We’re grateful to Crew for another brilliant show of support into women’s sport, and for choosing women’s rugby.”
