Worcestershire Cricket Club’s Home Gets New Name
Worcestershire County Cricket Club (CCC) has agreed a naming rights partnership with Visit Worcestershire for the team’s New Road home ground.
As per the agreement, the 4,500-capacity venue will be renamed as ‘Visit Worcestershire New Road’.
The regional tourism board will gain prominent brand visibility throughout the ground, and will lead match-day activations in order to promote Worcestershire as a travel destination.
Ashley Giles, CEO at Worcestershire County Cricket Club, said, “This collaboration is a perfect blend of sports and tourism, providing a unique platform to highlight what makes Worcestershire such a special place.
“We look forward to welcoming visitors from near and far to experience not only world-class cricket but also the charm and attractions of our county.”
