Worcs To Open Revamped New Road

The new pavilion at Worcestershire CCC’s New Road ground will be opened to players for the first time in Sunday’s Twenty20 Cup opener against Gloucestershire.

However supporters will have to wait a little longer to use it as, as the catering facilities are not yet ready.

The dressing rooms are at the top of the new three-storey structure. Members facilities will be on the second floor, providing a spectacular view of the New Road ground and the famous backdrop of Worcester Cathedral.

The new construction, to be known as the Graeme Hick pavilion, will be opened by the former Worcestershire and England star on 30th May before the home Twenty20 game against Northants.
