World Class 2013 Breakfast Club Lineup Announced

The full line-up for this year’s Nolan Partners Sport Industry Breakfast Club has now been revealed, including the leaders of a number of the country’s governing bodies and major events, a former England cricket captain and the heads of leading sports teams on either side of the Atlantic.

Next week, on Wednesday 19th June, former England captain Mike Gatting, MD Cricket Partnerships at ECB and the next MCC President, will join the governing body’s CEO David Collier for an exclusive interview on the day of the ICC Champions Trophy semi-final, speaking ahead of back-to-back Ashes series.

On 26th September, leading figures from the NFL and Barclays Premier League will meet with Liverpool Football Club’s Managing Director, Ian Ayre, joining the Owner and President of the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings, Mark Wilf, to discuss what it takes to run a sports team in a multi-billion pound league.

Completing the year, on 6th November, Brian Barwick, Chairman of the Rugby Football League and former CEO of the Football Association; David Grevemberg, CEO of Glasgow 2014; Debbie Jevans, CEO of England Rugby 2015 and former Director of Sport for London 2012; and Ed Warner, Chairman of UK Athletics, will all take the stage to discuss the wealth of sporting spectacles coming to England over the next four years, and its impact on the UK sport industry. 

The event will take place during the Rugby League World Cup 2013; one year out from the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow; almost two years to the day until the Rugby World Cup at Twickenham Stadium in 2015; and four years until athletics returns to London for the IAAF World Championships and Paralympic World Championships at the Olympic Stadium in 2017.
