World Paraathletics Champs Launches Group Offer
Sports and community groups are being invited by London 2017 organisers to experience the World Para Athletics Championships this summer after launching a new offer for group bookings.
In July, the London Stadium at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will see some of the biggest names return to the track for the World Para Athletics Championships, from 14th to 23rd July.
Stars already confirmed include the likes of Jonnie Peacock, Hannah Cockroft, Kadeena Cox and Richard Whitehead – returning to the stadium where many of them won gold medals at London 2012.
Tickets to five of the sessions will be available from as little as £5 for adults and £3 for children for groups of 50+ tickets, with accompanying chaperones joining for free.
Groups applicable for the offer include charities and foundations; professional sports clubs community departments; youth clubs and gyms; community groups, organisations and centres; grassroots sports clubs and social enterprises.
The latest offer follows the launch of a ticketing campaign “The Race is On”, back in September.
According to organisers of the World Para Athletics Championships London 2017, the offer is “to thank community clubs, charities, sporting organisations and many others for their hard work and to mark the numerous valuable contributions made to many people’s lives.”
