Property company, JLL has announced its partnership with the Vitality World Triathlon London for this year’s International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Triathlon Series in May at Hyde Park where the 2012 Olympic triathlon was held.
JLL runs the largest mass participation sporting event in UK real estate, the Property Triathlon and Property Swim, and sponsors two-time world champion triathlete Helen Jenkins.
As part of its sponsorship agreement JLL will invite clients and employees to take part in a relay race which will challenge guests in Hyde Park. International ITU athletes and coaches aid JLL stakeholders in their training.
Speaking on the partnership, Guy Grainger, chief executive of JLL commented: “Triathlon is the fastest growing sport in the UK and we are proud to be the first property firm to enter into a partnership with Vitality World Triathlon London and further our association with the sport.
“We already have a strong connection through our well-established charitable triathlon events and sponsorship of double world champion, Helen Jenkins.
“The beauty of the triathlon is its inclusivity. It is a sport that people of all ages, backgrounds and ability can participate in.”
Marisol Casado, president of the ITU, added: “We look forward to welcoming and working with JLL, their employees, and clients at the London leg of the World Triathlon Series 2015.
“Their drive for excellence translates well to the focus and determination needed to compete in triathlon.”
