World Triathlon London Secures Gym Partnership
Gym brand Equinox has signed a sponsorship agreement with the organisers of the Vitality World Triathlon London event, taking place in and around London’s Hyde Park on 30th and 31st May.
The event marks the sixth stop on the 2015 International Triathlon Union World Triathlon Series.
British Triathlon chief executive Jack Buckner said of the deal: “The Vitality World Triathlon London is a hugely important shop window for British Triathlon and therefore we are delighted the event is going from strength to strength, as demonstrated with Equinox coming on board.”
The agreement, signed between the gym brand and event organiser Lagardère Unlimited Events UK, will see Equinox, which has a London base in nearby Kensington, invite key event participants to its clubs to take part in training sessions and workshops.
Equinox will also provide personal trainers to help participants stretch and recover after the triathlon.
