Wrc Confirm Bulgaria For 2010

Bulgaria will host a round of the World Rally Championship (WRC) next year despite the 2009 race being halted following a fatal accident.

Rally Bulgaria, which has been part of the European Rally Championship, will take place in the second week of July 2010.

This year’s race in Bulgaria was halted after the seventh stage following the death of Italian navigator Flavio Gugelmini.

The country is also hoping to secure a F1 Grand Prix in either 2011 or 2012.
