National League football club Wrexham AFC has extended its partnership with Italian sportswear provider Macron.
Macron will remain the club’s official kit supplier for the 2023/24 season after the deal between the Welsh football club and sportswear brand was extended for a further 12 months.
Wrexham AFC has rose to prominence in recent months following the successful Welcome To Wrexham docuseries that followed the journey of the club and its new owners – Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
The unlikely ownership has seen the club grow commercially, with global interest in the team.
The partnership with Macron will also see it continue as the Mold Road Stand sponsor in The Racecourse Ground, which will remain the Macron Stand for the 2023/24 season.
Wrexham AFC CEO Fleur Robinson, commented, “We are pleased to be extending our long-standing partnership with Macron for a further season.
“As our official kit supplier – and stand sponsor since 2021 – we enjoy a good working relationship with Macron, and look forward to this continuing.
“We are excited about our new kits for the 2023/24 season, and we look forward to revealing the red home shirt, white away shirt and black alternative shirt in due course.”
Macron became Wrexham AFC’s official kit supplier in 2016, and the international sportswear brand – with a franchise store in Wrexham – will now continue for an eighth season.
Macron’s Mike Davies, added, “We are pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with Wrexham AFC.
“Being official kit supplier and stand sponsor is something we are very proud of and, as we look forward to continuing that partnership next season, we would like to wish all at the football club the best of luck for the months ahead.”
