In his time at WWE Brody has helped increase WWE’s global sponsorship revenue by 25% to-date, driven by new deals with blue-chip companies such as KFC, Nestle and AT&T, as well as gaming partners including Psyonix, Square Enix and Activision.
WWE posted record revenue of $729m for 2016, up 11% on the previous year, and while 70% of its content consumption consists of international audiences, international accounts for just 30% of its overall revenue, with the organisation now keen to target Europe and Asia for growth.
Last month it was announced that WWE had hired Lagardère Sports as its international sponsorship sales agency in a multiyear agreement, in a bid to build its sponsorship revenue in the growth regions.
