Gillette Celebrates Father’s Day With The Overlap

Gillette has partnered with The Overlap for a special episode exploring football and fatherhood.

Centered around the personal experiences of former footballers Ian Wright, Jamie Carragher, and Peter Schmeichel, Wrighty & Carra’s Football Fathers shines a light on the difficult moments the trio faced as parents of professional footballers, as well as ‘reflecting on the role models who shaped them to be who they are today.’

Airing ahead of Father’s Day, the film includes Carragher coming to terms with his son’s injuries, Wright sharing his experience of having to do punditry on his son’s performance, and Schmeichel revealing the best moment of his football career – when his son lifted the title.
