The UK’s first sports podcast festival, Pod Live Sport, kicked off in style with US combat sports podcast Morning Kombat opening the week-long event.
Morning Kombat, the inaugural Sports Podcast Awards’Sports Podcast of the Year, is a series that spotlights the weekend’s biggest news from the world of boxing and mixed martial arts.
US-based hosts Luke Thomas and Brian Campbell welcomed former mixed martial artist Dan Hardy to join them for the podcast first-ever UK show.
Then, on Thursday 9th February, fans were treated to a double bill consisting of a mashup of Wrighty’s House x Stadio x Counterpressed, followed by The Rugby Pod with guest Jack Nowell.
