Oracle Red Bull Racing and official team partner Rokt have launched a five-part film series highlighting female engineers and their contributions to motor racing.
The video series, titled Driven Beyond Limits, features individual interviews conducted by Rokt Chief Product Officer Srishti Gupta with five Oracle Red Bull Racing engineers.
The Driven Beyond Limits series is the latest in a string of initiatives by ecommerce technology firm Rokt and Oracle Red Bull Racing to ‘foster greater diversity in Formula 1 racing and STEM.’
In June, the two organisations announced Rokt the Rig, a women’s sim racer development programme that provides direction to female Formula 1 sim racers, helping to develop their talents and offer wider guidance and professional support.
The two organisations also hosted an International Women in Engineering Day networking event for women to learn more about engineering opportunities from different industry professionals.
Zoe Mills, Head of Employee Experiences, commented, “We are proud to see the engineers and machinists of Oracle Red Bull Racing coming together to share their career journeys helping to educate and inspire others about the many possibilities for women in STEM.
“Each interview is a unique look into the collaboration, creativity and passion that exists behind the magic of each Formula 1 race.”
Srishti Gupta, Chief Product Officer at Rokt, said, “Our new video series shines light on the incredible women working behind the scenes to bring the excitement of Formula One racing to life.
“We partnered with Oracle Red Bull Racing to enable greater diversity in engineering, sports and business and these episodes are a great way to showcase the immense talent of these women.”
