Premier League Club Southampton has revealed its latest series of creative content, Secret Southampton – a series of comedy short films showcasing the Southampton Academy’s famously successful track record of developing young talent.
Coinciding with the release of Stranger Things 2 on Netflix and Virgin Media, fake paranormal investigator, Robert Crust, breaks into Southampton’s Staplewood campus, taking fans into the heart of the facility, and giving them an insight into the goings-on of a football club in ways never seen before.
The films were created by Dark Horses, the sports marketing agency co-owned by Lucky Generals.
Starring comedian David Earl, star of ‘Derek’ and ‘Cemetery Junction’, and supporting Ricky Gervais on his 2017 tour, the film was shot by Jim Archer at Mindseye. Mischief is supporting with PR activity.
