London-based video production company Shoot The Company has produced a campaign video for the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation, which raises awareness of CPR.

Shoot has provided ongoing support to the foundation, which was set up after the tragic death of former footballer and manager Justin Edinburgh in 2019.

The charity focuses on raising funds for defibrillators to be placed within public access to increase survival chances.

Celebrity and former footballer Mark Wright fronts the latest campaign, which is an instructional video on what to do if you come across someone in public suffering from cardiac arrest.

Charlie Edinburgh, Foundation CEO, said, “Prevention is our purpose, and educating the next generation of lifesavers is a priority of ours. Cardiac Arrest takes no prisoners, and we want to give people the skills and confidence to save someone’s life.

“This is a powerful message that needs to be communicated clearly, far and wide. This project allows us to do just that, so that we can prevent unnecessary death and improve the survival rates across the country.

“We have witnessed first-hand what is possible with quick recognition and early intervention. This film really will save lives in Justin’s memory.”

Sara Butler, Managing Director of Shoot the Company, added, “Working with the JE3 foundation is a real privilege and one that I am very proud of. I am amazed every day at the passion and resilience that exists within the Foundation, from the board all the way to the fundraisers and volunteers.

“Our latest collaboration is a series of training videos designed to raise awareness of what to do if you are faced with someone having an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. The survival rates for cardiac arrest in this country are currently way too low. The rate can only be increased by more people being trained in CPR and the use of defibrillators.”
