For Chelsea’s Didier Drogba, coming to play in the Barclays Premier League gave him the chance to perform at the highest level and inspire thousands of youngsters in his native Ivory Coast, the place where his own passion for football began. Away from the pitch, the Didier Drogba Foundation raises awareness of the issues facing young people in Africa, as well as improving health and education facilities in the Ivory Coast.
