Premier League club Arsenal has announced via Twitter that it is to return to German sports apparel Adidas in a new kit partnership.

Terms of the agreement have not been disclosed but industry experts speculate that the deal could be worth in the region of £60 million a season for five years.
It would make the partnership the same value as Chelsea FC’s relationship with Nike, but short of Manchester United’s £75 million-a-season Adidas deal.
The move will see Arsenal leave Puma at the end of its current five-year, £30 million-a-season contract, when it expires in May, returning to Adidas for the first time since 1993.
It follows the departure of Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis, who will join AC Milan as the Italian club’s new CEO at the end of the month.
Meanwhile Puma is believed to be in talks with Manchester City to take over its kit manufacturing from 2019-20.
