English Football League (EFL) Championship club Blackburn Rovers has announced that health tourism company Clinic Center is the club’s new goal sponsor for the 2022/23 season.
Clinic Center will see its logo displayed on Rovers’ social media posts and the big screen at Ewood Park every time Jon Dahl Tomasson’s side score this season.
Clinic Center provide services to patients globally, however its main community and clients reside in the UK.
Rovers’ Chief Executive, Steve Waggott, said, “We are delighted to have Clinic Center on board as our goal sponsor. They are a high-quality medical tourism organisation that provides treatments abroad and we hope this will be the start of a successful partnership going forward.”
Mustafa Temiz, CEO and founder of Clinic Center, added, “We believe that a community should support each other, even if they are present in different sectors. There is no doubt that the Rovers fans will be in for an exciting season and we are delighted to be accompanying them on this journey.”
The club, which is owned by Indian conglomerate Venkateshwara Hatcheries Group, has also announced Change Please as a new supplier to Ewood Park.
The social-enterprise coffee company have teamed up with the club and its catering partners, Sodexo Live, to provide coffee across Rovers’ hospitality, conferencing, and events spaces, as well as for the supporters on the concourses.
Since 2015, Change Please has been using 100% of its profits to give people experiencing homelessness a living wage, job, housing, training and onwards opportunities.
Waggott said, “We are delighted to support this new venture, which builds on the excellent work we have been doing in partnership with our Community Trust and our charity partner Benefit Mankind aimed at tackling homelessness in the local area.”
