Leeds United have announced that Clipper Logistics will become the Premier League club’s Official Training Kit Sponsor and Official Logistics Partner as part of a new two-year deal.
The move will see the logo of the Leeds-based logistics company placed on the front of the club’s training kit worn for training sessions, press conferences and warm-up exercises before matches.
Clipper Logistics has been a main sponsor of Leeds for four years, with this latest move expanding the existing partnership.
“Clipper has been a main sponsor of Leeds United since 2016 and we have hosted corporate events in our club box since 1992,” said Steve Parkin, Executive Chairman, Clipper Logistics.
“We are delighted to extend our relationship with the club as it regains its rightful status – as a Premier League outfit. The promotion to the Premier League is not just great news for the club and the fans, but also for Leeds as a city.
“We are proud to remain sponsors of the club and look forward to a continued partnership as Leeds United plays to a truly global audience. We’ve been incredibly proud of our partnership to date and we look forward to seeing what the next two years of our partnership brings.”
Paul Bell, Executive Director at Leeds United added: “Clipper have been a long standing sponsor and supporter of Leeds United during our time outside of the Premier League, and therefore we take great pride in the fact that their most high profile sponsorship with the club comes as we return back to the top flight.
“The global power of the Premier League puts Leeds United back on a truly worldwide stage and as our official training wear partner, Clipper will join us on that journey and enjoy extensive global visibility for their brand.
“These are exciting times for our region, and we look forward to many more years working in unison.”
The move comes after Leeds announced a club-record sponsorship deal with sportswear brand adidas, who will supply the club’s kits for their first Premier League campaign since 2004.
