one Tree Planted For Every Attendee Of The FEVO Sport Industry Awards 2023
Sport Industry Group (SIG) has announced international non-profit organisation One Tree Planted as an Official Partner.
One Tree Planted is an environmental nonprofit that is dedicated to global reforestation. Since 2014, they have planted over 92.7 million trees in more than 80 countries.
In signing on as the Official Sustainability Partner of SIG, One Tree Planted has announced that they will plant one tree for each of the expected 1,500 attendees at this year’s FEVO Sport Industry Awards.
Additionally, as part of the agreement, the Vermont-headquartered organisation will sponsor the event’s Environmental Sustainability Award, one of the most competitive award categories, which has seen huge growth in recent years.
Organisations on this year’s shortlist include Formula E, Visit Scotland, SailGP, Sky Sports, Southampton FC and Manchester City FC.
In 2022, the Environmental Sustainability Award was won by Extreme E, a radical new off-road racing series that showcases electric SUVs and futuristic technologies in locations damaged by climate change.
