The FEVO Sport Industry Awards is committed to being as environmentally conscious as possible.
As part of this commitment, we reviewed the 2024 event to assess key areas of environmental impact and identify opportunities to improve our environmental performance by leveraging innovations in the market.
This year, we are expanding our efforts to more accurately measure and mitigate these impacts, aligning with the growing movement across the sport industry to deploy environmental responsibility and to put the planet first wherever possible.

REDUCED PAPER
Every year at the Awards we make a concerted effort to reduce paper waste throughout the event.
In 2023, we introduced our e- tickets, and in 2024, we took the commitment further by discontinuing the physical A5 table plans and having a digital version available on the night.
REMINDER: Download your e-tickets before arriving at the event.
TRAINER DROP OFF
We are encouraging all our Awards guests to consider their transport options this year. By having a ‘Trainer Drop Off’ at the cloakroom, on arrival, we hope to make the lower impact option of walking to the awards more attractive to our guests.
REMINDER: If you’d like to use the Trainer Drop Off, please bring a bag for your shoes!

JUDGING PROCESS
Sustainability measures continue to be carefully considered throughout judging process.
Within the entry form, organisations were required to describe their sustainability policy or plan across all award categories, as part of a wider effort to ensure the industry has the planet’s well-being front of mind.
The point of introducing these questions is not to try and catch anyone out, but instead to encourage the industry to consider their actions and, for organisations who may not be completely buttoned up in this area, to start their journey towards sustainability.
THE LONGEST WALK
Once again, we will be running the annual ‘Longest Walk to the Awards’ competition.
The initiative aims to encourage our guests to walk to the Awards rather than using public transport, with the longest walk being awarded with a free bottle of champagne!
So, get out your walking boots and compete with the sport industry for the chance to win an extra bottle of fizz to celebrate the evening!
Join the STRAVA EVENT now to be part of the competition.

SUSTAINABLY SOURCED MENU
Every year we work with the Awards partner, Smart Group, to create a fully sustainable menu with locally sourced ingredients and minimum waste.
MOËT HENNESSY
Moët Hennessy, providing wine and champagne for the evening, also operate sustainably by focusing on regenerating soils, and preserving biodiversity with 30% of land having native vegetation.
They use drip irrigation and analyse water usage to improve efficiency, and more than 97% of their waste is recycled.
The company also trains employees and engages in social programs to promote environmental care.

CERTIFIED B-CORP STATUS
